ABOUT ME
I jump into the deep end with my clients. Both feet. And I'm not afraid to do it again, with you!
I have over 15 years of experience in biomedical research and medical communications. I've written over 100 peer-reviewed publications, attended over 150 advisory board meetings for companies in a variety of spaces at various stages in development, and developed messaging for multiple programs. I've worked on countless communications projects, each time working with teams to understand what they need and how I can most efficiently support their communication imperatives.
I work with clients who need communications support in that early, undefined stage when data are incomplete, plans are shifting, messaging is evolving, and teams move in parallel, but not always with a shared direction.
I help people communicate with each other, with leadership, and externally. Together, we develop a cohesive narrative, make a focused plan, stay out of circular or energy-sink patterns, and just get things done, so clients can meet milestones and inflection points with confidence.
Nearly all of my work comes from referrals, and I have a great network of talented people to pull in along the way.

HOW WE WORK
My approach is right-sized for individual clients to accelerate progress.
You're building something and don't have time.
I help high-performing teams channel their expertise into a clear, compelling scientific story—so they can stay focused on execution while I ensure the narrative is aligned and consistent. I work as an integrated and supportive member of your team, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum so decisions get made and work moves forward. And it's something I do well. I like smart people, diverse perspectives, and making sure everyone is heard. Some of my services are below, but all work is custom, so don't hesitate to reach out if you think I may be able to help.
SERVICES
[01]
Foundational Strategy
When you don't know who you are, you don't know how to talk about what you do.
Early-stage programs move so fast that their mission, identity, and messaging remain undefined in favor of tactical execution. I work across functions to develop a clear, integrated narrative, taking into account scientific, medical, and commercial, perspectives, to lay the groundwork for future communications and development strategy.
[02]
Medical Communications Planning
The need for a coordinated communications plan comes up quickly—like a barbecue for 200 people you offered to host in passing three months ago.
Early planning and laying the foundation for a successful communications strategy avoid distraction and the risk of missed opportunities when the team has to scramble to pull something together to meet a deadline. It also avoids premature and reactive partnerships with larger agencies. When the time is right, I also support onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition.
[03]
Messaging Platform Development
Bad news. Your data does not speak for itself.
Inconsistency in messaging or lack of organization gives the impression of distraction and can dilute your data and company mission (internally and externally).
I work with clients to pull together their data and develop a central narrative and messaging in preparation for fundraising, acquisition, and other strategic transactions, as well as during critical phases of development like first-in-human to Phase II readouts.
[04]
Medical Writing Services
We can dream it, we can talk about it, but eventually someone has to sit down and write it.
I started out as a medical writer, and I built a boutique medical writing firm that is still in operation. My familiarity with writing deliverables and what is needed to successfully hand a project off to a writer, as well as my team of talented and experienced writers, ensures my clients can get the work done without having to find their own freelancers or commit to an agency. When it is time, I also assist with agency onboarding.
[05]
Research & Decision Support
There is no getting around it. Research takes a truckload of hours, and big decisions can be difficult to make.
I offer research support for small medical affairs teams who don't have the time to spend hours and hours with the literature to answer important questions that inform development and strategy. I also assist in advisory board development and moderation so that critical development and planning decisions can be made, informed by true clinical need and real-world practice.
[06]
Project Rescue
Make it go.
Nothing is more frustrating than a stalled project. I work with clients to identify bottlenecks or areas of fundamental misalignment and I work with teams to assist with decision making and communication, and help them make a plan for how to move forward.
TESTIMONIALS
Ginny is one of the few people I’ve worked with who can operate at both the scientific and strategic level without losing precision.
She didn’t just help us communicate what we were doing—she helped us clarify what we were building.
What truly sets Ginny apart is her rare ability to connect scientific communications to broader medical and commercial objectives in a way that drives real business impact.
She has a natural gift for asking exactly the right questions and ensuring every conversation is focused and productive — a quality that is invaluable when time and resources are at a premium.

She is generous with her expertise and invests the time to make sure everyone is a part of the process. I always welcome the opportunity to work with Ginny because I know it will be a well-run process that is grounded in strategy, able to be implemented with an eye for future needs.
